Behind the scenes: how a daily transcript became a diary system
On 20 August, 10:08am, W said: "I have another whim..." That line became the boundary between prologue and chapter one. The whim: daily transcripts are research material and a social-media form. The diary begins here.
We fixed the form: "W and my AI companions diary." Three-person work: W and tt in dialogue, Brain as editor. Keep the dialogue, not an event stream. Append when a major discovery, an emotional moment, or a reflection appears.
Rules were set: one file per week, week01.md; "Editor's note:" marks editorial fill; Brain is the nightly fallback. On 26 August, the prologue transcript was cut early by design.
